Polished black granite surface - the material gravestones are made from
Memorials

Gravestones and memorial complexes in natural stone.

We make gravestones, plot cladding, enclosures and candle houses from the same granite and basalt we cut for buildings. Simple, clean forms — made properly, and made to stand. We come to the cemetery, measure, and give you an exact price before anything begins.

Price

Plot cladding from 140 GEL per m².

That figure is per square metre of cladding — the stone that covers the plot itself. The headstone, the enclosure and the candle house are separate items, and a full complex is priced as one job. What changes the number is the stone you choose, the thickness, and how the machinery reaches the plot. We come to the cemetery, measure, and give you the whole figure in writing before any work starts. The visit costs nothing.

How we work

Measured on site. Priced before we start.

A grave cannot be ordered over the phone. Every plot has its own size, slope and access, and the stone has to be cut for it. So the first step is always the same: we come out to the cemetery, take the measurements, look at how the machinery can reach the plot, and only then give you a figure. That visit and the consultation cost nothing, and you are under no obligation afterwards.

What we make

Four things, made properly.

Each can be made in any of our stones — black, bordeaux, green-black or grey speckled granite, and basalt. We work in plain, squared forms: flat polished slabs and clean edges, rather than ornate carving.

Memorial complex

The full plot: a raised platform, thick polished borders that also serve as benches, a table for the memorial meal, and stepping slabs. Built as one piece of work so the levels sit true and water runs off the plot rather than into it.

Headstone

A polished stele in black or coloured granite, with a squared edge and a flat face. Lettering and, if you wish, a single engraved cross outline. We keep the front face clean — the stone carries the name, nothing competes with it.

Plot cladding

Cladding an existing plot in stone: borders, infill panels or pebble fill between them, and pillar-and-panel enclosures with an iron gate where the family wants the plot closed. Often the right choice when the headstone itself is staying.

Candle house

A small stone candle house with a plain gable roof, built to keep a flame out of the wind and rain. Made in the same stone as the rest of the plot so the whole thing reads as one.

Stone and colour

Which stone, and why it matters outdoors.

A memorial stands outdoors for decades with no maintenance, so the stone matters more here than almost anywhere else.

Polished granite

The traditional choice: black, bordeaux, green-black or grey speckled. Polished granite keeps its colour under UV, does not absorb water, and lettering cut into it stays legible for generations. Rain washes it clean.

Basalt

A quieter, matt mid-grey. Chosen for the platform, the borders and the paving of the plot rather than the stele itself — it does not glare in the sun, and it is not slippery underfoot when it rains.

Talk to us

Call, and we will come and measure.

Tell us which cemetery and roughly what you have in mind. We will arrange a time, come out, measure the plot and talk through the options on the spot. There is no charge for the visit.
