Granite Tiles
Granite forms as magma cools slowly deep underground. That slow process built its coarse crystal structure — quartz, feldspar and mica, clearly visible to the naked eye.
That structure gives granite two practical advantages: very high compressive strength and low porosity. On a facade that means long service life with minimal maintenance; on a floor, a surface that does not wear through in decades.
Choosing the finish is a practical decision. Polished reveals the depth of the stone but is slick when wet. Unpolished is drier in appearance and considerably safer outdoors, on steps and on walkways.

A dry, matte surface with an even grain. No glare, no traffic marks, noticeably more grip when wet — external steps, walkways, large-area paving.

An unpolished surface is markedly less slippery when wet. On external stairs that is a safety matter, not an aesthetic one.
